Job Description:

As a hybrid Systems Engineer and Acquisition Logistics Specialist on your team, you’ll work with GreenDart colleagues and the military to develop and rapidly deploy the next generation of Environmental Monitoring (EM) capabilities to provide critical information to our warfighters. As a systems engineer, your client will trust you to develop and execute system integration plans for space and ground systems. You will lead and support integration activities at the system of systems, system, segment, and element level. You will grow your skills by researching new requirements, technologies, and threats and using innovative integration methodologies and tools to integrate remote sensing systems to deliver warfighter capabilities. You’ll work with our clients to assist with evaluating, redesigning, and authoring their system life cycle and sustainment policies, processes, and documents. Using your understanding of the DoDI 5000.2, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team of data analysts, financial managers, systems engineers, and logisticians to ensure life cycle and sustainment policy and documentation reflects DoD guidance and directives.

You Have:

  • 7+ years of experience with space-based program integration, systems engineering, and logistics planning of Major Defense Acquisition Programs (MDAPs)
  • Experience with DoD acquisition program management, acquisition planning, sustainment infrastructure, and organizational planning
  • Experience with subsystem hardware or software alignment
  • Experience with system integration risk mitigation
  • Experience with system integration test analysis
  • Experience with configuration change control
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM

 

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with the development of Test Readiness Review packages
  • Experience with remote sensing systems
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering
  • Knowledge of NASA or NOAA systems engineering processes
  • Knowledge of the INCOSE standards handbook
  • Knowledge of IEEE 15288 standards
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master's degree in STEM
  • PMP Certification
  • CSEP or ESEP Certification

Salary Range:

$96,352 - $206,189
